After turning down her boss’ advances, Vasilisa, a promising urban planner, is fired and blacklisted in her home Novosibirsk province. She considers moving to another province, but one morning, Vladimir, an intriguing man with ties in the highest circles of the Russian economy and public administration, knocks at her door and makes Vasilisa an offer she can’t refuse.
Against her late grandmother’s advice, Vasilisa accepts to travel to the Sikhote-Alin mountains, in the Russian Far East, and to assist Vladimir with his project: building a high-end resort in a protected area.
There, they meet a family of indigenous locals, and from then on, their excursionary trip takes a whole different turn…
